Dave Perry is one of the most memorable contributors to UK games journalism in the 90s. With a career in magazine journalism and being a major part of gaming TV shows Games Master and Games World almost everyone knows who he is. With a wealth of games magazines in his portfolio including Sega Pro, Play, X-Gen and many more Dave had a insightful view of changes in gaming industry.
Equipped with his trademark Stars & Stripes bandanna, he was a regular commentator on Games Master, this gave him another platform to give out his knowledge and views on some of the most popular games. However it is well known how his Games Master career ended with the much publicised ‘Mario 64 incident’.
In this episode Paul interviews Dave about his gaming past, magazine career, thoughts on gaming TV shows and much more, including his return to the world of gaming at the popular Revival events in Walsall.
