A guest that has worked on much loved computer game magazines Your Sinclair and Zero could take up a whole episode on their own! However, David Wilson also spent almost 30 years combined at EA and Sony in PR roles and as Head Of Communications.
We discuss the challenges launching the Sony PS2, PSP, Vita and PS3 whilst with the company and how they fared against the competition.
Before all that though we talk about how he found working at publisher Dennis for Your Sinclair before becoming editor of Zero, and the changing face of the games industry. With all this and talk about his time at EA there is plenty covered in the episode including the song he wrote as Whistlin’ Rick Wilson which can be heard at the end of the show.
